The Beet Soup

A simple bowl of beet soup !  Something my mom has been making since I was little.  You wouldn't think that it would stand for much but it does.  Every time I eat it I think of the many times that I have ate this soup throughout the years.  The many Christmas Eve's where it is a tradition to eat this soup.  I have tried to make this soup myself, but for some reason just could not get it to taste just like my moms.  So as I take another sip of my beet soup, I am a taken back to many, many years and traditions!
