Olde Fashioned Pancakes

Who doesn't love a delicious pancake breakfast ? Especially one that is home made from
scratch ! Believe it or not, I find making pancakes is almost as easy as buying a store box mix. Plus you can mix up the dry ingredients and store them in mason jars and just add the wet ingredients when you want pancakes.

Olde Fashioned Pancakes

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 1/4 cups milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons vegetable oil

In a larger bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.  Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and oil.  Beat together with a whisk until smooth.
Heat a lightly oiled griddle over medium high heat.  Scoop the batter onto the griddle using about 1/4 cup for each pancake.  Brown both sides and serve hot.
