Slow Cooker Suppers : Chicken

For some reason I think of a slow cooker supper mostly in the colder months.  But summer is a perfect time to use your slow cooker ! 
Today I made a chicken dinner in the slow cooker.  I simply added 4 chicken legs to the slow cooker and covered them with water.  Then I added carrots, onions, and cabbage.  I added salt,pepper and garlic powder and a bouillon cube.  I let this simmer on high for 4 hours and I then added chunks of potato and cooked it another 2 hours.   I re sasoned everything before serving and dinner was ready and delicious and I barely did anything !
